OKEMOS, MI (WHTC) - The Michigan State Boundary Commission approved signed petitions that seek to put the question of consolidating the governments of Saugatuck, Saugatuck Township and Douglas into one entity before voters. This now set up a May 16^th hearing at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, where the SBC will get public input into the size and scope of the possible consolidation, and whether to recommend conducting such a vote.
