COVERT, MI (WHTC News) - Officials at the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant shut down the facility yesterday afternoon due to what they called a breaker fault in the electrical system. No injuries were reported, but crews spent the night working to repair the problem and get the facility back to full operations. The system involved controlled lights and other indicators, and a separate DC power supply was able to maintain power to the affected areas without interruption. Other generators brought online are maintaining electrical supply to customers.
