LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Snyder has signed nine bills into law.
One of those laws will give cities that are in financial trouble the ability to refund all or a portion of previously issued financial recovery bonds. Another delays the sunset date on the nursing home Quality Assurance Assessment program for four years.
The governor says he needs to act quickly on moving the state forward. Other legislation signed by the governor includes allowing money from the 9-11 Fund to be used to fund a portion of the state's Public Safety Communications System. He also signed into law a reduction in funding of the Transportation Economic Development Fund's Targeted Industries Program.
