TALLMADGE TWP., MI (WHTC News) - Two teens from Marne suffered serious injuries on Friday afternoon when the car in which they were passengers in was rearended. Authorities say that 50-year-old Beverly Ann Gibson of Walker was driving southbound on 8^th Avenue near Johnson Street in Tallmadge Township when she rammed another car ahead of her that was stopped, waiting for traffic to clear in order to turn into a private driveway. The force of the collision pinned 14-year-olds Richard Rutledge and Jase Huisken, and they were taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital, along with the driver, Rutledge’s 16-year-old brother Riley. Another passenger in their car wasn’t hurt, while Gibson and a two-year-old girl in her vehicle suffered bumps and bruises. The incident remains under investigation.
