HOLLAND, MI (WHTC News) - A 58-year-old man is in the Allegan County Jail after an hour-long standoff with state police troopers, county sheriff’s deputies, and Holland Public Safety officers last night. Gunshots heard in the area south of Southshore Marina led police to a residence in the 18 hundred block of 32^nd Street, where they found the wandering suspect, who then holed himself up in a wood pile, threatening himself and anyone else if he was approached. Negotiators were able to talk him into surrendering peacefully; no injuries were reported.
