The unbeaten world welterweight champion has reached out to Frazier's family after hearing the sad news and offered to help them give the heavyweight a fitting send-off.
In a tweet, Mayweather, Jr. writes, ""My condolences go out to the family of the late great Joe Frazier. #TheMoneyTeam will pay for his Funeral services.""
It's not the first time Mayweather has offered to cover a boxer's funeral costs - he paid for his one-time opponent Genaro Hernandez's farewell earlier this year (11).
