The Milwaukee Brewers slugged their way past the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 11-8 on Thursday. Milwaukee plated 4 runs in each of the first two innings. Yuniesky Betancourt ripped a three run home run in the first inning and Carlos Gomez had a run scoring triple in the second. Randy Wolf got touched for four runs on six hits over 5 and a third innings but picked up the win. Starting third baseman Casey McGehee left the game in the first when he was struck in the knee by a pitch. X-rays were negative but McGehee is listed as day to day. He becomes the 9th projected opening day starter to miss time in spring training. Manager Ron Roenicke said Thursday it's looking unlikely for catcher Jonathan Lucroy (broken finger) and outfield Corey Hart (oblique strain) to be ready for opening day next Thursday in Cincinnati.
