MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Conflicting stories arise out of a disagreement among justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Justice David Prosser denies reports he put fellow Justice Ann Walsh Bradley in a choke hold.
Witnesses say the incident occurred during a confrontational discussion over a legislative bill that would limit the collective bargaining rights of public employees.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Saturday that Justice Bradley says Justice Prosser put his hands around her neck in a choke hold. Others who were in Bradley's office June 13 say she charged Prosser and he put his hands up to block her and did make contact with her neck.
Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs has reportedly met with the entire Supreme Court about the incident.
Previous incidents on the court have involved name calling, but no physical contact has been reported in the past.
