SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC News) - It appears that the Saugatuck City Council has solved a dilemma involving tourists and fishers along a popular downtown park. The panel agreed to install pole holders along the Kalamazoo River at Wicks Park in order to accommodate the anglers whose lines had blocked the shoreline sidewalk between the chain ferry dock and the marina area. Council had also considered other options, including fishing bans.
