DETROIT, MI (Metro Source) - The attorney for the so-called Underwear Bomber wants the October trial of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab delayed. The Nigerian man allegedly tried to blow up a jet bound for Detroit on Christmas Day 2009 and is scheduled for trial on October 4^th. Attorney Anthony Chambers filed court documents yesterday saying more time is needed to prepare the defense after federal prosecutors gave him a "considerable amount of evidence." Chambers said he has not been able to meet with his client because he's been working on a corruption trial in the Virgin Islands.
