KALAMZOO, MI (WHTC News) - A 38-year-old South Haven man is expected to learn his fate in a Kalamazoo courtroom today. James Cleland didn’t contest a felony charge of using a computer to commit a crime. He agreed to the plea deal with prosecutors in exchange for having two counts of unlawfully posting a message dropped. Cleland allegedly hacked into the email and Facebook accounts of an unnamed Kalamazoo Township 24-year-old woman who broke off a dating relationship with him, claiming in posts that she was sick and had tested positive for HIV. Circuit Court Judge Pamela Lightvoet will hand down the sentence.
