DETROIT, MI (Metro Source) -- One of the four U-S victims of a deadly E-coli outbreak is recovering in southeastern Michigan. According to Michigan Department of Community Health official Kelly Niebel, one of the four known victims in the United States is a Michigan resident who is now back home. Like many of the other victims, the Michigan resident experienced kidney failure following a visit to Hamburg, Germany. The deadly outbreak has been linked to tainted organic sprouts in Germany and has sickened nearly 22 hundred while killing at least 22 people in Europe.
