PAW PAW, MI (WHTC News) - Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department officials yesterday released sketches of two bald, Hispanic suspects wanted in connection with a January 5th shooting of a 25-year-old man in Columbia Township, east of South Haven. Jose Ricardo Celaya suffered a leg wound standing next to a mailbox on County Road 384, as one of the two suspects jumped out of a SUV with Illinois plates, fired a round, and then jumped back in to flee.
The suspects are described as: One is in his early 30's, 6-3; the other is in his mid 20's, 5-10. The vehicle was a Chevy Suburban from the mid-2000's with tinted windows. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department or Silent Observer.
