DETROIT -- Sales at General Motors were up by 21 percent for December compared to last year. The nation’s largest automaker says the four remaining brands of Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC sold over 118-thousand more vehicles in 2010 compared to 2009 when the company had eight divisions. Buick led the charge with a sales increase of 52-percent last year, while Cadillac sales were up by 35 percent. The company says the GMC division saw sales rise by 29 percent and Chevrolet sales were up by 16-percent over last year’s numbers.
