An 18-year-old Zeeland man is in the Ottawa County jail, awaiting arraignment in the murder of another 18-year-old whose body was found in a wooded area of the Maple Valley mobile home park in Zeeland Township. County jail records indicate Joshua Hambley is being held on an open murder charge in the death of Jonathan Dargis, whose body was found shortly before noon Friday. Lieutenant Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department says the two men apparently knew each other. The cause of death has not been released. An autopsy on Dargis’ body is to be performed over the weekend by medical examiner Dr. Stephen Cohle at Blodgett Medical Center in Grand Rapids. An investigation continues into the case.
