LANSING, MI (WHTC) - A Holland man who works primarily in the Tri-City area was named to a four-year term on the Michigan Board of Athletic Trainers yesterday by Governor Snyder. Patrick Wykes is Grand Haven High’s chief sports medico and is an adjunct professor at GVSU, in addition to his regular duties at private sports health clinics. He replaces Laurie Ryan of Grand Rapids on the 11-member board that oversees athletic trainers statewide.
