HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - During the Holland City Council meeting of January 18^th, winners of the annual Social Justice Awards from the city’s Human Relations Commission will be honored. Earning recognition yesterday for promoting equal opportunity and respect was the Ready for School educational initiative, the city’s Ourstreet and Neighborhood housing liaison programs, the Holland is Ready gay and lesbian rights organization, West Ottawa High senior Timmy Kim, and the late community activist Becky Arenas.
