HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The new General Manager of the Holland Board of Public Works is now in place after contract terms between the board and Dave Koster were agreed to yesterday. Pending final approval from city attorney Andrew Mulder and the city’s labor lawyer, the three-year deal is worth a base salary of 144 thousand dollars annually. The BPW’s Operations Director for the past four years, Koster was selected as the new day-to-day chief last Wednesday, and replaces John Van Ufflen, named interim GM when Loren Howard left in October.
