SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC News) - The Saugatuck Township Planning Commission meets at the township hall at 7 PM this evening, and one of the topics on its agenda is expected to be an ordinance proposal that would restrict medical marijuana distribution to home use. Two commercial dispensaries had opened up on Blue Star Highway before a 90-day moratorium was placed by the township board in early June. It is not known if those two businesses would be forced to close if such a proposal is enacted. If the planners recommend the proposal, the board could vote on it on September 7^th.
