HOLLAND, MI (WHTC News) - Commuters to Chicago who take the Amtrak Pere Marquette passenger train from Holland will have to be at the Padnos Transportation Center a little earlier for the two weeks or so. Officials of the mass transit service say that they are pushing up departure times from Grand Rapids to the Windy City by 90 minutes through September 1st in order to accommodate CSX maintenance crews working on replacing rails, ties and ballast on the line. This means that the train would be slated to leave the Tulip City for Chicago at 6:51 AM.
