DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors has selected A123 Systems to supply batteries for their electric cars that will be sold in select global markets.  The battery cells will be fully integrated into a number of vehicles that will be announced at a later date.  The automaker said they tested A123 products in their lab in Warren and believe they offer the best performance.  The two companies have been working together on other component systems for future vehicles.
