(DETROIT)(WKZO) - The Tigers made it exciting against Texas on Tuesday, moving out to a 5-2 lead, allowing the Rangers to come back and tie things up late, and then getting an 8th inning Brennan Boesch solo shot in the midst of a rain shower, that propelled Detroit to a 6-5 win in the match-up of division leaders. The Tigers lead the AL Central by 3 games over Cleveland, and believe it or not, they have the largest lead in the AL and 2nd largest in MLB. Detroit will start newly acquired P Doug Fister Wednesday in game two of the series. You can hear all of the action beginning at 6:40 pm on AM 590 WKZO.
