GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC News) - The Ottawa County Circuit Court has set dates of June 24th for a case preparation conference, and a final pre-trial conference for September 12th, in the matter involving Joshua Hambley. The Zeeland man faces open murder charges in the February 24th death of Jonathan Dargis, whose bludgeoned and stabbed body was found in a wooded area behind a Zeeland mobile home park. Hambley’s trial is slated to begin on October 4th. Both the prosecution and defense agreed to the dates, saying that they needed the extra time to prepare their cases.
