AMSTERDAM -- Two former Michigan residents arrested this week in Holland on suspicion of planning a terror attack have been released. Ahmed al Soofi and Hezem al Murisi were arrested in an Amsterdam airport on Monday when suspicious items were found in their luggage.
Investigators say they found no evidence to link the pair to a terror plot, and released them without filing charges. The two men are both believed to have formerly lived and worked in the Dearborn area.
