Adell, Wis. (WHBL) - A Random Lake man has been charged with burglary after allegedly breaking into an Adell bar this summer. 32 year old Jeremy Behnke was charged today in Sheboygan County Court with Criminal Damage to Proerty, Felony Burglary, and theft after DNA evidence linked Behnke to a burglary that occurred at the “Times Remembered Tavern” on August 21. According to the criminal complaint, a neighbor found broken glass from the bar’s window on the ground the next morning, and the deputy who responded was able to collect blood samples from the broken glass. After interviewing the bartender, who told the deputy Behnke was the last one to leave the bar that night, they collected a DNA sample from Behnke. All the cash was removed from the bar at close, and the only thing that ended up missing was a pair of dice worth around $20. If convicted, Behnke could spend up to 15 years in prison.
