NEW YORK, N.Y. (WTAQ) - Tickets for NFL preseason and regular-season contests cancelled by a potential lockout will be refunded.
The league announced the policy Tuesday, with season ticket holders scheduled to receive renewal notices in the near future.
The policy will include a full refund for all general admission tickets. All ticket holders will have the option of being reimbursed or having their money credited towards future games.
The league says it will send out any reimbursements by 30 days after a schedule for next season is finalized. Teams will determine individually how to handle cases involving club seats, suites and personal seat licenses.
The NFL and the NFL Players Association face a work stoppage if they can't agree on a new collective bargaining agreement.
