(Allegan, MI - WHTC News) - The Allegan District Court this afternoon will evaluate mental competency evaluations of a Kalamazoo couple before deciding if they are able to stand trial in the death of a South Haven man. Authorities claim that Alison Martin and Andrew Terpstra conspired to murder Brandon Silverlight last November, with his charred remains near a burned-out car in a Casco Township field just north of the Allegan-Van Buren county line.
