(Grand Rapids, MI - WHTC News) - The Grand Rapids Police Department has placed an officer on paid leave while the circumstances surrounding his service weapon being fired while he was off duty at an Allendale tavern last Friday is probed. Officer John Guerrero reportedly discharged the weapon at the undisclosed establishment, and while other details have not been disclosed due to the investigation, it is known that nobody was hurt in the incident.
