Woman Faces Murder Charge For Running Into Crowd

(Grand Rapids, MI)  --  The woman accused of driving onto a sidewalk and barreling toward a group of people in Grand Rapids will face a count of open murder.  April Juarez is in the Kent County Jail.  Nineteen-year-old Tifanee Crews was killed in the incident.  Police say it all started early Friday when a fight broke out inside the Tap House near Weston and Ionia Avenue.  When crowds spilled out onto the sidewalk, Juarez allegedly hopped into her car and intentionally drove up and down the sidewalk, trying to run people over.  Five others suffered minor injuries.  In addition to the murder charge, Juarez will also face attempted murder charges and other felony counts.
