(Holland, MI - WHTC News) - Gas prices continued their upward climb along the Lakeshore, as the per-gallon average of $2.75 from this morning’s weekly survey is a dime higher than last Friday, 17 cents more than two weeks ago, and 70 cents higher than a year ago. Rates were pretty consistent throughout the region. Yesterday’s spike from below $2.60 is generally attributed to increased demand, higher crude oil futures, and fuel blending changeover. Triple-A’s daily numbers are $2.72 nationally and $2.67 in Michigan.
