(Allegan, MI - WHTC News) - Sentencing is this morning for Van Buren Hutchison, a 45-year-old Berrien Springs man who isn’t contesting attempted manslaughter charges in the 1993 death of Jeanette Reeves, a Chicago-area woman whose body was found in the Allegan State Game Area near Fennville. The April plea deal with prosecutors will prevent life in prison, but Hutchison could still get between two and a half and five years in jail.
