(Grand Rapids, MI) -- Congressman Vern Ehlers of Grand Rapids will make his future plans known this morning. The nine-term Republican has a press conference scheduled for 10 a.m. in Grand Rapids. His office will only say Ehlers will address questions about his future plans following speculation about the possibility he will retire at the end of this term. Ehlers has served the Grand Rapids area in Congress since the 1993 death of Congressman Paul Henry.
