(Grand Rapids, MI) -- A Grand Rapids man has been arraigned on charges of killing his former boss after being laid off. Socorro Hurtado-Garcia allegedly killed Ed Rasch Friday after losing his job in December. Though out of a job, the 57-year-old suspect still lived on the farm where he had worked for Rasch. Garcia had been an employee at the apple orchard for 20 years and reportedly "snapped" after losing his job. Garcia is due back in court on February 23rd.
