(Holland, MI - WHTC News) - Could there be a group of youths bent on violence stalking a Holland neighborhood at night?
Police are now saying an early Saturday morning incident in the 100 block of East 21st Street is related to two separate incidents in the area of 16th Street and Central Avenue early last Monday morning. They are still not saying if these incidents are gang-related or not.
Around 12:30 AM on Saturday, a group of four Hispanic men, one with a gun and the others with baseball bats, robbed two victims, beating one of them to the point where treatment at Holland Hospital was needed, before fleeing on foot. The suspects are described as between 5-7 and 5-9, medium build, in their late teens, and their features were partially covered.
On August 23, four or five Caucasian or Hispanic men in a black SUV beat and robbed two teens at 16th and Central, and then did the same to a passing 26-year-old biker at 17th Street and Columbia Avenue. The only other descriptions given then were that they all had their faces covered, with one wearing a bandana and the others in hoodies.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Holland Police Department or Silent Observer at 877-88-SILENT.
