(Coopersville, MI - WHTC News) - The Coopersville City Council last night approved issuing up to six and a quarter million dollars in bonds to pay for sewer plant upgrades designed to accommodate a new Continental Dairy milk processing plant. The 30-year loans will be paid off through surcharges to the company and any other large-scale customers. Continental is renovating the former Delphi parts plant on West Randall Street, with the 120 million-dollar project estimated to provide 70 jobs. The sewer plant work is slated to take about 18 months.
