Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development played the role of the Grinch Wednesday with the release of November’s unemployment figures.
After posting improvements in recent months, both Sheboygan County and the City of Sheboygan registered unemployment numbers higher than October’s rates. In the County, unemployment jumped to 8.4%, up slightly from 8.2% in October. The City’s rate climbed to nearly 11% as the number edged up to 10.9% from October’s 10.6%.
Statewide, unemployment figures in all 72 counties are higher than a year ago.
