This morning on my radio program my co-host Jan and I talked about the royal siblings William and Harry and William's wife Kate Middleton. Most of the talk lately has been about the topless pictures of Kate taken while the royal couple were vacationing in Provence, France, at the luxurious Chateau d'Autet resort.
News of the photos broke as William and Kate – dressed in headscarf – stepped out to visit Malaysia's largest mosque, in central Kuala Lumpur.
Then there's Prince harry who was the main target of an attack last night on his base in Afghanistan, which left two U.S. Marines dead and others injured. Insurgents armed with rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles stormed heavily-fortified Camp Bastion, the British HQ in Helmand, in a deadly assault on the ‘aviation area’.
A commander for the radical Islamic movement told Sky News the Prince was their primary target and secondly as revenge for an amateur anti-Muslim video recently posted on YouTube. 'We attacked that base because Prince Harry was also on it and so they can know our anger,' Taliban spokesman Qari Youssef Ahmadi said by telephone.
He added, 'Thousands more suicide attackers are ready to give up their lives for the sake of the Prophet.' And this is what the Prophet would want them to do?
