We all know (or should) about how symbolism is as much a part of American life as apple pie and sunday afternoon baseball.  So what symbol do you see in this arial photo of the Denver International Airport?

Why is the DIA the focal point of many conspiracy theories?  And what's up with those freaky murals?  This one inparticular:

I would love an explanation of the alien with the gas mask andhis Islamis sword piercing the dove, the synbol of peace, and the crouching children facing the sharp end of the blade.
