The woman I am talking about is terri Graham. She has made headlines for breastfeeding. You may be asking yourself "Why does Red think that breastfeeding is strange?". Well, if it's done with a baby that in and of itself isn't strange, but breastfeeding a dog?
Apparently Terri Graham, a mother of two, couldn't breastfeed her children which since she really wanted to is sad. But, she's now fulfilling her maternal desire in an unorthodox way -- by breastfeeding her 9-year-old daughter's dog, a pug named Spider. Thats even sadder, and just a tick above CRAZY AS HECK!
In an interview published in the Oct. 20 U.K. edition of Closer magazine, Graham, 44, said that she knows some people might consider her a "freak," (thats mild!) but insisted that her breastfeeding nourishes the dog, and makes her feel like a better mom. "Having Spider suckle on my breast means I finally feel complete and a better mother," Graham told Closer. I must insist that it also makes her a candidate for the nut house!
Graham, who is from California, claimed that the dog developed a taste for breast milk in 2010 after licking the nipple of a bottle she had pumped for her then-newborn son who now lives in the dogs house. She says she has breastfed the dog for about 2 years. Thats two years TOO LONG!
I'm trying to figure out how she made the leap from the dog licking the bottle to suckling from her nipple? Maybe she'll need a dog whisperer to help wean the dog?
Can I throw up yet?
