The Republicans in Ohio are out of their fracking minds!  I am of course referring to the controversial process of getting natural gas from beneath the earth.  Fracking is a technique used to release petroleum, natural gas(including shale gas, tight gas and coal seam gas), or other substances for extraction.

From the web site energyfromshale.org comes the following explanation: "In a hydraulic fracturing job, "fracturing fluids" or "pumping fluids" consisting primarily of water and sand are injected under high pressure into the producing formation, creating fissures that allow resources to move freely from rock pores where it is trapped."  It all sounds so very innocent and clean and a non-issue.

Then why is Ohio about to adopta similar draconian new law as Pennsylvania that if enacted will essentially give gas companies the right to drill anywhere, overturn local zoning laws, seize private property andmuzzle physiciansfrom disclosing specific health impacts from drilling fluids on patients.  You read correctly!!  If enacted will essentially give gas companies the right to drill anywhere, overturn local zoning laws, seize private property andmuzzle physicians from disclosing specific health impacts from drilling fluids on patients.  What kind of New World Order kind of crap is this?? 

This atrocious law is called Act 13.  And it makes a person wonder WHAT IN THE HECK ARE THOSE OHIO REPUBLICANS THINKING??  I don't know what they are thinnking, but I can tell you who they can thank for this conspiracy....SUPER REPUBLICAN, and chief architect of the war on Iraq, Dick Cheney a former CEO of gas driller Halliburton.  He exempted fracking from regulation under the Safe Drinking Water Act. Congress needs to close this so-called Halliburton loophole period, end of discussion.
