Anti-Gay vs. Anti-Religion

Posted by Red Kingman on

I simply do not understand why homosexuals and those opponents of same sex marriage are so up in arms over the personal beliefs of a particular business owner?  Why the need to stage disruptive, anti-religious, homosexual "kiss in's" at Chick-Fil-A's across the country?  Aren't people entitled to their own opinions?

What I find most alarming about this situation is how anti-Christianity the "marriage equality" movement can get without anyone pointing out this obvious inequality.  Why is it alright for one group to be able to promote their agenda while another cannot simply state their contrary opinion?

The argument shouldn't be with Dan Cathy, the restaurant chain's president, over comments he made last week, saying that his company supports "the biblical definition of the family unit" and that he prays "God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to try to redefine what marriage is about."  The argument should be with God, because it is His word, as interpreted by man that states the company presidents position.

Does the homosexual and marriage equality community not respect the rights of individuals to religious freedom?  Does their agenda trump an individuals constitutional rights?

And since when does the homosexual agenda trump an individuals constitutional rights? Sounds anti-religious to this blogger.
