Texting While Walking = An Unwanted YouTube Sensation

And it equals a lawsuit for whoever shot the video.  I am talking about the video of the woman texting and walking through a shopping mall in PA. that went viral.  The woman in question Cathy Cruz Marrero appeared on "Good Morning America" on 1-20-11and said that someone should have helped instead of making her a national laughing stock. But really, what could anyone have done?  Yelled out 'LOOK OUT! YOU ARE ABOUT TO WALK INTO A FOUNTAIN WHILE TEXTING!!!".

What I find interesting is how not one person seemed to notice this woman falling into the fountain, nor did they blink an eyes as she climbed out of the fountain soaking wet! I'm sorry, but this IS a funny video and shows how people get into a "text trace" and can even forget their surroundings.  Take a look:

Her attorney says an investigation is in the works to see if there will be a suit and to “hold to the appropriate persons accountable.” U.S. Security Associates, the company that provides security at mall, announced yesterday that a security guard responsible for sharing the video had been fired.
