And Now For Something Completely Different......

We have all heard of fights at soccer and hockey matches, and even between parents at little league games.  But this I think, is a first: a brawl between spectators at a tennis match!  The U.S. Open to be exact.  Now let me see if I get this correct; a guy and his older Daughter were watching a match between Novak Djokovic's and Philipp Petzschner in Auther Ashe stadium.  Good luck pronouncing those last names! But anyway, what happened was apparently the woman took offense at the swearing of a male fan during the match at the U.S. Open.  After being told they did not approve of his behaviour the man continued to swear at the pair, prompting the woman's father to lash out at the spectator...physically....and he was much older than the swearing guy.  The men then tussled and fell two rows of seats before the woman approached the man and slapped him. All three were later handcuffed and led away

And of course there is a video of the entire altercation on you tube!  And here it is now on my blog!  Enjoy.

So what the heck happened to the decorum usually displayed at a tennis match?  Too much Miller Time perhaps??
