The Mumbai Trip

I see that president Barack Hussein Obama is on a whirlwind "business trip" to Asia, where he pledged to strengthen ties with Asia while assuring the increased exports from the U.S. to Asia and India.  But wait, the only thing that we have to export these days are jobs!  And didn't we already "export" millions of jobs to India?

President Obama says his visit to India is about job strategy.

Saturday he announced ten-billion dollars in trade deals.

He said they will support (not create??) more than 50-thousand United States jobs.

But convincing Americans that partnering with India will increase jobs at home may be a tough sell.

The country has become a symbol of outsourcing with United States companies finding cheaper labor overseas.

And now we are to believe that one of the poorest countries on the planet will somehow be able to import more U.S. goods thereby creating more jobs in America for Americans?  Sounds like what former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm did during her reign as the top legislator in the state.  Taking many trips abroad presumably to bring back jobs for Americans.  The tally:  Millions of jobs lost to overseas, with a few hundred thousand created by her "business trips".  Do you think that the president's trip is a prudent one?  Are we going to see another mass exodus of American companies setting up shop in India?  Did I forget to mention that according to world census numbers, India has the largest Muslim population in the world.  Ok.  Thats all.
