As we begin the second to the last week in May I was struck by the headlines that I woke up to this Sunday morning May 16, 2010:

Episcopal Church Ordains Its 2nd Openly Gay Bishop

"The Episcopal Church has consecrated a woman as its second openly gay bishop, seven years after stirring lingering controversy by ordaining a man to a similar post. The Rev. Canon Mary Glasspool, of Baltimore, was ordained and consecrated on Saturday. It also makes her one of the first two female bishops in the Diocese of Los Angeles' 114-year history. She was installed at Long Beach Arena before 3,000 people, who burst into applause at the end, church spokesman Bob Williams said.

Just before the ceremony began, a man stood, shouted about the need to repent and held up a sign that read "Do not be deceived, homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God." (abcnews.com  At least not an unrepentant homosexual according to the Word of God. But this move by the church sure blows that whole "jot and tittle" scripture out of the water! Either this is a direct and and controlled SLAP to the face of God, or, maybe the Episcopal Church knows something about an amendment to Gods Holy Word that only they have been told about?!? Sarah Palin: Don't like Arizona's anti-illegal immigration law? Blame Obama!

The ex-Alaskan governor has placed the blame for the state's tough, widely criticized effort to combat illegal immigration on the White House.

"It's time for Americans across this great country to stand up and say 'We're all Arizonans now and, in clear unity, we say, 'Mr. President, do your job, secure our border,'" Palin said, standing with Gov. Jan Brewer in Phoenix on Saturday. (NYDailynews.com) What an absure notion! That we Americans, who are clamoring for some serious immigration reform from our Government to close our porous borders would stand WITH Arizona's tough immigration law that seeks to stem the tide of illegals from coming into Arizona!  We stand with the millions of ILLEGAL ALIENS and stand against law enforcement who has the extremely challenging job of carrying out this law that is unfair to ILLEGAL ALEINS. Bite my tongue? How about chopping off my flappin head!

Dr. Murray aids fallen air passenger

PHOENIX, May 16 (UPI) -- The doctor charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson assisted an ill passenger aboard a Houston to Phoenix flight TMZ.com said.

A female passenger had fainted and Dr. Conrad Murray, who was aboard the same plane Saturday, administered IV fluids, the woman told TMZ. Well good for Dr. Murry that he was able to help that passenger. Now, is it me, or has anyone else wondered what the good doctor was doing with IV fluids inhis baggage? And what else did he have? Defibulator paddles? A portable colonoscopy kit? Does he fly with his stethescope hung round his neck? lol
