Miss "X" USA

Last week, reports CBS News Correspondent Ben Tracy, 51 Miss USA hopefuls shot their official contestant photos in Las Vegas. Their look consisted of lacy lingerie, smudged black eyeliner, knee-high boots, cleavage, and plenty of bare skin while they positioned in seductive poses on a large bed - looking almost like a Victoria's Secret event and not like a beauty pageant, some critics assert.

Do the images cross the line - all I the name of grabbing the spotlight - and ratings?

And what does Vanessa Williams think seeing how she had to give up her title over "racy" photos showing her with another woman. Did you know that the Miss USA padgent was created by a swim suit manufacterer? The Miss USA pageant was conceived in 1950 when Yolande Betbeze, winner of the rival Miss America pageant refused to pose for publicity pictures while wearing a swimsuit. Pageant sponsor Catalina decided to pull their sponsorship off the pageant, and create their own competition.[1] Other owners have included a subsidiary ofGulf+Western Industries, ITT Corporation, and billionaire Donald Trump, the current owner who bought the pageant in 1996.

So should they give Vanessa Williams her crown back?
