This morning (3-16-10) during the show Jan and I discussed a DVD that I gave to her to watach called "HACKING AMERICA". It dealt with the controversy surrounding electronic voting machines, DIEBOLD brand in particular (although DIEBOLD has since divested itself of its voting machine division). The bottom line is this, our system of voting has been outsourced to companies that cannot insure the security of our votes. The documentary HACKING AMERICA investigates this very frightening topic. Here is a short video about a hearing on voting machines and their incredible security holes.
You can see the entire documentary, HACKING DEMOCRACY on YouTube. So are you concerned about our voting system and the possibility of vote tampering? Shouldn't we at least have a paper back up to check the votes or in case the machines break down?
