This Idea Is All Wet

As if we don't have ENOUGH on our collective emotional plates; trillion dollar bail-outs that our childrens, childrens, childrens, childrens, children will still be paying off, housing meltdowns, unemployment (all this courtesy of our Federal Government), now the Feds are attempting to annex ALL WATER IN THE U.S.!

Oh, you haven't heard about S.787? It's a bill sponsored by Russ Feingold whose previous work successfully impeaded all manner of grassroots activism. (McCain/Feingold act) making it's way around Congress that On the surface the bill intends to reduce pollution, though it would be ironic to entrust the Federal Government with such a responsibility considering the Fed has contributed more pollution to the environment than any other source! But there are additional facets of this bill that have previously gone unnoticed. Here's is an excerpt from the text of the new bill:

“…all waters subject to the ebb and flow of the tide, the territorial seas, and all interstate and intrastate waters and their tributaries, including lakes, rivers, streams (including intermittent streams), mudflats, sandflats, wetlands, sloughs, prairie potholes, wet meadows, playa lakes, natural ponds, and all impoundments of the foregoing, to the fullest extent that these waters, or activities affecting them, are subject to the legislative power of Congress under the Constitution.”

"So basically, in addition to putting a gun to your head and forcing you to purchase health care, bail out the banksters and fund the murder of brown people in various international locales, this congress now wants control over our water- including your backyard Koi pond and Farmer John’s watering hole." Writes Bryce Shonka on tenthamendmentcenter.com http://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2009/12/feds-attempting-to-annex-all-water-in-the-u-s/

The question is do you believe this and want to take action against the latest attempt to perloin our God given right to free water, or is this just more "conspiracy theory" babble and no such bill exists? (Also known as "lets bury our heads back in the sand time")
