China Goes Green...And So To My Green Jobs

Not only is China not using dollars to trade with Russia, and they are our biggest creditor, but now they are siphoning off our Green Jobs as well.

From REDALERT.com Dr. Jerome Corsi writes that despite the hype the Obama administration has given about a "green economy," the results turn out pretty much as expected – the vast majority of green jobs are going to China.

Last week, the New York Times reported that Chinese manufacturers have grabbed up to 85 percent of the wind-turbine market in China, advancing to the point where China today controls almost half of the $45 billion global market for wind turbines.

"Chinese companies acquire the latest Western technology by various means and then take advantage of government policies to become the world's dominant, low-cost suppliers," Keith Bradsher wrote in the Times.

The three leading wind-turbine manufacturers currently are GE from the United States, followed by Vestas of Denmark and Gamesea of Spain.

Sinovel, China's biggest wind-turbine maker, has said it wants to become the world's largest by 2015.

"Sinovel is among the Chinese companies now opening sales offices across the United States in preparation for a big export push next year," Bradsher noted. "They are backed by more than $13 billion in low-interest loans issued this past summer by Chinese government-owned banks; billions more are being raised in initial public offerings led mainly by Morgan Stanley this autumn in New York and Hong Kong."

So, the next time President Obama touts green jobs as the future for economic growth in America, we should remember to ask if China is going to manufacture the alternative energy technology, so we can determine more precisely exactly why the White House is so enthusiastic.
