I remember when those little laser lights came onto the scene thre was a lot of talk about how some people would point them at pilots and blind them. I used to think that was a bunch of hooey, but I now have a different opinion on the subject after I read the following story out of New Jersey.

Apparently this guy named Nelson Villalobos Jr., 32, has been arrested and is facing Interference with Transportation charges in connection to the April 8 incident in which he is accused of repeatedly flashing a green laser light at National Guard Air 1 helicopter, which blinded the pilot causing him difficulty in flying the air craft.

First of 1) that has to be one powerful laser light, and 2) Mr. Villalobos Jr. has some crazy good aim to be able to point and shine that laser through the small aircraft window and directly into the eye of the pilot. Now unless the pilot has a really HUGE eye, this was quite a fantastic event, but not so for Nelson!
